This blog may be a bit late (I renewed my ECE license last March 28 *wink*). But nevertheless, I hope this will be a big help to those who will need to renew their PRC license. =)
Comparing the process during my last renewal (early renewal – change of professional name, from Electronics and Communications Engineer to Electronics Engineer), it’s easier and faster this time. You just need to have all the right documents/requirements plus an extra punctual time and voila! You’re all done. =)

- In case of LOST ID, bring a notarized Affidavit of Loss

** See Professions requiring certificate from their respective APO

Over the Counter Procedures

Window 18
Be sure to get your certificate from you respective APO before going to the said window above. Professions listed above are the only ones requiring APO certificate.
For Electronics Engineer, IECEP office is located right in front of PRC, Php1200 membership renewal fee (valid for 3 years).
If you’re a PECE, you may opt to pay for the lifetime membership fee, I think that’s for Php2000.
FORMS may be downloaded below, or you can directly get it from PRC.
- Download Application Form for Professional Identification Card
- Download Form for Petition for Correction of Entries or Data
- Download Form for Petition for Change of Registered Name due to Marriage
Step 2.
Pay the prescribed fees at the Cashier.
Optional: Pay the delivery fee near PRC’s Information Desk.
If you don’t want to waste your precious leave again, I suggest that you pay the delivery fee (fee varies depending on your delivery address). I got my ID 3 days after its actual release date. =)
I paid the following during my renewal:
Renewal Fee: Php500
Delivery Fee: Php150
