Lena: Impromptu OktoberFest in Brotzeit ;)

After a very long tea time while I was finishig off an MOM (and ooh yes!, I'm kinda working on a fine Saturday night while my dear friend, Ria, is sipping her very hot Nagasaki milk tea), we then decided to walk out of Serenitea and grab something to eat. The sad part, the place's about to close. We went out of the newly added wing of our go-to mall (Shangri-La Mall) and guess where our feet took us :) --- Ola! Hello to Brotzeit!

Brotzeit is a Singaporean-owned German Restaurant. "Brot" means "bread" and "zeit" literally translates to "time" in German, so it does mean bread time which is usually paired or accompanied with a nice cold beer.

Spicy Beef Goulash has a similar taste to our local Menudo, I was a bit disappointed with the "spicy" name. My buds can't sense any spiciness -- but please bear that I'm kinda bias when it comes to such thing due to my high tolerance.

Four Cheese Sausages -- a total hit for us! We really love 'em especially the sauces that came with it. I will definitely get these again once I'm back here.

Part of the new specials that's why we tried it. This meal can feed 2-3 person (I'm pertaining to a girl's normal appetite *wink*). Meat's very tender and moist but lacks the overall taste of a good marinate or sauce. We were actually looking for the missing sauce that should have come with it but nada! -- that's the whole meal. We just decided to re-use the Four Cheese sauces. Well, it was still a good workaround for the Lamb Shanks :)

German experience won't be a good one if we won't try their beer mixes since it's Oktoberfest after all! :) I tried Bayrischer Longdrink (Original Munchner Lager with vodka and lime juice) while Ria tried Schwarzer (Weissbier with cola). All in all, our drinks were really good but we did arrive with the same conclusion - we can't finish 0.5 liter each! haha! Too much beer for us! ;)
